Following the recent announcement of its innovative new Flight Solutions Programs, VistaJet Holding SA today announced several team member additions effective April 1, 2008. These additions will enhance VistaJet’s already strong team and ensures it has the most experienced team in place to best execute its new Flight Solutions Programs.
VistaJet has already demonstrated the success of its business strategy and the strengthening of its team, together with its new innovative programs, will make VistaJet an even stronger and more successful company.
Peter Murnane joins VistaJet as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to working for VistaJet, Peter was the Chief Financial Officer of Mesa Air Group, Inc., a regional airline operating more than 180 aircraft. Prior to joining Mesa in 2002, Peter was the Chief Operating Officer of International Airline Support Group, Inc., an aviation services company and from 1986 until 1996, Peter was an investment banker with Merrill Lynch & Co. specializing in transportation finance. Peter received his Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from The Wharton School.
Michael Lerchner joins VistaJet as Director – On-Demand Sales. Michael has been actively involved in the travel industry for almost two decades and has held key strategic positions in several large travel agencies in Austria. Most recently, Michael founded Reise AG in 2003, a company whose focus is on the high-end of the leisure and travel market. Reise AG specializes in business; luxury and private jet travel for customers worldwide and will become an affiliate of VistaJet with Michael joining the Company.
Rory McQueen joins VistaJet as Head of Treasury. Rory joins VistaJet from Bombardier Structured Finance, where for the last four years he was responsible for the financing of Bombardier’s range of business aircraft to its customers across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Prior to joining Bombardier, Rory had a successful career with Bank of Scotland (HBOS) in the UK. During his 14 years with HBOS, Rory focused on aircraft finance in the worldwide commercial and business aircraft markets.
Ratko Velin joins VistaJet as a Financial Analyst. Prior to joining VistaJet, Ratko spent four years working in Toronto Dominion Bank’s investment banking division where he advised clients in the utilities, telecommunications and financial services industries. Ratko earned an MBA from Columbia University and a B.Comm in Finance from McGill University.
Separately, the Company announced that Peter Nater has decided to pursue other challenging opportunities outside of the Company and will leave VistaJet effective May 5, 2008. We sincerely thank Peter for his valuable contribution and wish him all the best and lots of success in his new endeavors.
