VistaJet Ltd. places the safety, security and wellbeing of its customers and staff above all else. To date, the company has completed over 146,000 flights globally, having safely flown over 367,000 passengers to more than 1,900 airports worldwide.

Operating from its headquarters in Malta and supported through its network of regional offices, VistaJet Ltd.’s rigorous safety standards are recognized globally:

  • The first operator to be awarded the Diamond Safety of Flight Award by the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA).
  • VistaJet Ltd. operations are classified with the ARGUS International Platinum rating, Wyvern Wingman classified and International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO).
  • All aircraft are maintained to rigorous European safety standards as set by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
  • VistaJet’s US registered aircraft, operated by Jet Aviation and XOJET Aviation, operate under Part 135 regulations.
  • Industry leading flight operations software, integrating the most advanced innovation technologies available, including Osprey Flight Risk Assessment system.

Safety is and must be a common goal for all aviation companies and VistaJet Ltd. is proud to lead the industry in adopting the most advanced technologies ahead of anyone else in business aviation:

  • Through a dedicated Flight Safety department, VistaJet Ltd. has in place a comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS), incorporating flight data monitoring across the entire fleet.
  • VistaJet Ltd’s industry leading flight operations software is integrated with Osprey’s cutting-edge Flight Risk Assessment System to instantaneously and intuitively assess every single flight, collecting data from 200,000 sources in 60 languages for a real-time view of global safety.
  • All flights are also assessed against a Control Risk Threat Level Zone Report, compiled from paramount sources.

Pilots and crew

A global team of over 1,000 aviation experts, including 600 crew, look after each and every VistaJet passenger.

The flight crew adhere to the most stringent safety standards in the world and surpass the most demanding benchmarks set by multinational blue-chip customer audits:

  • Every VistaJet Ltd. flight always has two crew in the flight deck and at least one Cabin Hostess.
  • Every VistaJet Ltd. pilot holds an EASA type rating for a specific aircraft – the only one they fly, to ensure maximum familiarity and instinctive reactions to any situation.
  • Each VistaJet Ltd. Pilot-in-Command has a flown a minimum of 3,000 hours, receiving over 40 hours of classroom and 28 hours of simulator training prior to conducting supervised operational experience of 10 to 20 flights.
  • VistaJet Ltd. pilots train twice a year in state-of-the-art simulators that include flying procedures for winter airports and real-world flight scenarios.
  • Cabin Hostesses are trained by Medaire International and Flight Safety International in CPR, First Aid and HAZMAT Identification.
  • VistaJet Ltd. monitors every crew member against circadian rhythm to ensure ample rest and a flight risk assessment is carried out before each new flight.
  • All pilots and crew work full-time and only for VistaJet Ltd.

Every flight has a 24 hour support line for on board diagnoses and medical advice.

To ensure all standards are upheld and all elements of a flight work together seamlessly, VistaJet Ltd. manages every aspect of operations through dedicated internal teams, including: flight operations, crew, aircraft maintenance, flight bookings and permits.

VistaJet Ltd. has an Emergency Response Plan that serves as a guide for the prompt and effective handling of potential crisis events anywhere in the world.
